Incorruptible Gifts – Renga

Your Daily Word Prompt  – Flourish – April 7, 2019

Word Of The Day Challenge – Venturesome

Haikai Challenge #80 (4/6/19) – Cherry [blossoms] (sakura)

This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, haibun, tanka, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to cherry blossoms (sakura).

NaPoWriMo 2019 Challenge

Today, we’d like to challenge you to write a poem of gifts and joy. What would you give yourself, if you could have anything? What would you give someone else?

The joy of springtime

brings many gifts to enjoy

cherry blossom love

warm sunshine to light our path

filling us with gratitude

~ * ~

Our souls then flourish

with a venturesome spirit

stepping out afar

the confine safety of self

bringing these gifts to others

~ * ~

To awake souls wings

and fly beyond this earth’s realm

in joyous freedom

these incorruptible gifts

of joy and love I would give

~ * ~

The priceless riches

that can never be purchased

given by Love’s grace

to all who ask willingly

and will receive faithfully

~ * ~
