Composed In Love

Your Daily Word Prompt – Lapse – January 14, 2021

With a lapse in composure

many things can be

said and done that can

cut deep into the soul of

a fellow human being

leaving them broken and

feeling like they are worthless…

Let us be composed in Love

knowing we are all

precious and valued creations

of God

always conveying this truth

to others in words and

most importantly…

actions

The Love Train

In Response To:

Your Daily Word Prompt – Liven – January 5, 2021

Sadje’s What Do You See #63Does this picture inspire you to write something?

Alas, the sun has set

upon this once vibrant

train station

alive with souls traveling

the same destination

until suddenly the world

took a turn for the worst

turning to violent rebellion

over things only seen by

the carnal mind that

aspires to nothing higher

than a hostile, self-centered,

and selfish state-

a spiritual death…

But we can liven this death

by leaving behind the carnal mind

and reboarding the Love Train

traveling the same destination

to a Higher Mind of Love

All are welcome!

Word Of The Day Challenge – Brilliant

Your Daily Word Prompt – Enliven – January 3, 2021

May the eyes of our souls

be enlivened to see

the brilliance of hope

beyond the seemingly hopeless

beyond the barren land devoid

of an infectious Love

that shall bring a cure

to what plagues humanity

becoming a far and distant memory

moving forward in the Wisdom

of a deadly lesson learned

honoring the lives lost

Amen.

Sue Vincent Thursday Photo Prompt – Angel #writephoto – Use the image below as inspiration to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose.

My Angel I cherish

is not the one covered

in shiny tinsel

instead the One who

comforts a weary heart

turning lament into joy

and causing the Sun

to rise and set on the

horizon of my soul

filled with guaranteed hope

the Sun shall always rise

again at the Morn’s dawn

with Dew of gratitude

as my daily meal to

carry me through another day
