Goosie & Gracie – Flash Fiction

Written In Response To:

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #41 – Every Wednesday I post a photo.  You respond with something CREATIVE.

Goosie – “Oh God!  Here come those annoying, nosy humans again!”

Gracie – “Now, now, Goosie; be nice.”

Goosie – “Don’t they have anything better to do than to invade our space and take pictures?”

Gracie – “Stop your whining and complaining, stand up straight and lift your head up and smile for them like I do!”

Goosie – “You know Gracie, you have always been one to seek the limelight!”

Gracie – “Be careful Goosie.  We’re married and you have to come home with me tonight!”

Goosie – “UGH!”  (head bows even lower).  The End!

Waiting To Exhale

Twittering Tales #132 – April 16, 2019

Each Tuesday Kat will provide a photo prompt. Your mission, if you choose to accept the challenge, is to tell a story in 280 characters or less.

After staying up all night to muster up the courage

to make the most important call of her life,

she left a message and stood outside

the booth staring at the phone

waiting in silent, bated breath for the phone

to ring and hear love return her call…

so she could finally exhale.

All I Can See

NaPoWriMo 2019 Challenge – Day 9

Twittering Tales #131 April 9, 2019

About the challenge: Each Tuesday I will provide a photo prompt. Your mission, if you choose to accept the challenge, is to tell a story in 280 characters or less.

Bright lights,

airplane awaiting for clearance

to fly…

but all I can see

are the tears that fall

with the raindrops…endlessly,

as my lover sits in the airplane

waiting for his new life to take off

without me to never return again.
