Word Of The Day Challenge – Claim

Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Champion – February 18, 2021 – Go where the prompt leads you and publish a post on your own blog that responds to the prompt. It can be any variation of the prompt and/or image. Please keep it family friendly. Prompts close 7 days from the close of my post.

It all begins with one soul

beatdown, broken, hopeless

hated, unwanted, abandoned

unloved, silently dying within

down in the valley’s darkness

drowning in its own tears

unspoken words of the heart

that only Love can hear and

give answer to their call…

Movement of the soul begins

a rising to the mountain top

these souls are the unnoticed

for they do not lay claim for themselves

they are the ones whose wings cannot be seen

lighthouses whose beam of Light shines

bright through the darkest storm

whose peace is undisturbable, their

forgiveness, compassion, and love are

poured out unconditionally upon others

even for the ones that destroyed them…

They walk silently upon this earth

in humble gratitude for the Love that

breathed Life into their death…they are God’s

Champions Of Grace.

Word For The Day…

From:  Gratefulness.org

For us to transform as a society, we have to allow ourselves to be transformed as individuals. And for us to be transformed…we have to allow for the incompleteness of any of our truths and a real forgiveness for the complexity of human beings.

The Spirit’s Zephyr – Haiku

Written In Response To:

NaPoWriMo Challenge 2019 – Day 30 – I’d like you to try your hand at a minimalist poem. What’s that? Well, a poem that is quite short, and that doesn’t really try to tell a story, but to quickly and simply capture an image or emotion. Haiku are probably the most familiar and traditional form of minimalist poetry.

Offerings

Antonia’s FreeForm Friday Prompt

The words for this fortnight are: LOVE, PAINT, AIR, OFFERINGS (use any two or three).

Offerings

Offerings of love to others

paints the air we breathe

into our life, our souls

it is a blessed reprieve

from this world’s negativity

that can haunt our spirits

and try to bring us down

~ * ~

It is a power that overcomes

hate, prejudice, anger, and depression

it performs CPR on our hearts

and fills it with medicinal compassion

to be given to others as a julep

so they can drink in its healing miracle

and bless other souls one at a time

until the world has been enraptured

and every heart no matter how broken

will, by the wonderment of forgiveness, be captured.

Morn’s Miracles

MLMM Tale Weaver #201 – Morning

This week I am asking you to consider the concept of morning.

For some of us, it is a welcome sight, for others the complete opposite.

What does morning mean to you?

Do you have a morning story?

Your response can be a true reflection or a piece of fantasy.

To awaken with ease of breath

a new day has been created

and new mercies dawn upon the soul

with joy and goodness as our promise

A chance to live less selfishly

and love other souls more

without human barriers

allowing gratitude to empower us

Letting go of past hurts

through Divinity’s healing

and welcoming into our hearts

the abounding grace of forgiveness

Morn’s Miracles is ours to have

and ours to give to another

they are infinite and uncountable

a precious gift from the Cross.
