A Long Time Ago…

In Response To:

Maria Antonia Weekly 2019 Photography Challenge – Come join me, each Saturday, in posting a photo. Above is a list of the prompts to help inspire us.  Prompt: A Long Time Ago:

A wonderful place to sit with a dear Friend.

A long time ago…

When joy lived within the soul

the spirit was not so weary and old

before the world had grown ever so cold

when hope was in abundance to behold

Before the truth was known about lies told

and broken promises about dreams foretold

when justice was supposed to wear a blindfold

and a purpose for living was a prophesy to enfold

A long time ago…

Before knowledge of God’s plan for this soul was to forgo.
