Ragtag Daily Prompt – Simplicity

Maria Antonia Weekly 2019 Photo Challenge – Come join me, each Saturday, in posting a photo. There is a list of the prompts to help inspire us. The order of the photos won’t matter.  MY CHOICE PROMPT – A Long Time Ago

Reena’s Exploration Challenge #104 – PROMPT – Long And Short Of It.  Posted is a rather long paragraph by Jiddu Krishnamurthy.  You need not get lost in the length. Just choose any three words and create your piece with the three chosen words as a base.  My Three Words:  Feeling Of Sacredness.

Sue Vincent Thursday Photo Prompt: Reaching #writephoto – Use the image below as inspiration to create a post on your own blog… poetry, prose, humour… light or dark, whatever you choose.

I remember the days of

a long time ago before

the world became so busy

living in the chaos of noise

back when people were content

reaching for the simplicity of

the matinal Light filling

their souls with a feeling of sacredness

and a desire to bring that sacredness

to others that they may know

an awakening of abundant

beauty of stillness in tranquility

generosity of heart towards

others who ached in brokenness…

Yes, I miss those days and

I pray that those of us whose

souls are filled in spiritual sacredness

will keep reaching to fill the

lost and empty souls wrenching

in desperation to be love and accepted

not by the world, but in the Beloved.

Seed’s Bounty

V.J.’s Weekly Challenge #63:  Ripening – This week, let’s take our cues from nature. Consider what is ripening in you, or the world around you. Maybe this requires a glance backwards to another time, or a peek into the life of another. Or maybe this prompt entices you to get out the camera and snap a few photos.  Looking forward to wherever the muse leads you!

Spirit’s Birth

Reena’s Exploration Challenge #103 – PROMPT:  I have a video for you this week – aeon.co.  If you do not have the patience to watch 6 minutes of it, use the following words as a prompt:  Delightfully Disorienting Dance.

When we begin to disconnect

from rigid beliefs imposed

we are disorienting from

withering ways…

feeling lost for a moment

but then this is where

the seed of spirit begins

to delightfully blossom into

an aromatic dance of soul

freedom of spirit’s flight borne

Maria Antonia Weekly 2019 Photography Challenge – Come join me, each Saturday, in posting a photo. There is a list of the prompts to help inspire us. The order of the photos won’t matter. In other words, you don’t have to start at the top and move toward the end. For this challenge, you may pick any prompt on the list and start with that.
