MLMM Tale Weaver #237 – Weeds – This week consider the notion of weeds as your topic to write about.  What does it mean to you? The unwanted plants that grow in your garden? The irritating people in your life? Something others consider a pest but you think otherwise.  Go where the prompt leads you.

Maria Antonia Weekly 2019 Photography Challenge – Come join me, each Saturday, in posting a photo. There is a list of the prompts to help inspire us. The order of the photos won’t matter. In other words, you don’t have to start at the top and move toward the end. For this challenge, you may pick any prompt on the list and start with that.  MY CHOICE OF PROMPT: HIDDEN.

hidden are the weeds

that choke a living beauty

evil intentions

are working undercover

surprising its next victim

yet…beauty always triumphs

Behind The Ornate Door

Word Of The Day Challenge – Lackluster

Your Daily Word Prompt – Lies – April 27, 2019

Crimson’s Creative Challenge #24 – Every Wednesday I post a photo.  You respond with something CREATIVE.

Behind the intricate ornate door

is a gathering of souls who hold the key

there is but one requirement to enter

a soul must walk in the light of Truth

if a soul walks in the dark of lies it then

becomes lackluster and cannot enter

because Truth is the key that opens the door

to a soul’s rest and rejuvenation…

for one can become weary standing for Truth

in a world so torn apart by rivalry, anger, and hatred

it is a privileged vocation to be signs of a

love that can bridge all divisions and heal all wounds.

Caged Souls

Twittering Tales #129 – March 26, 2019

Your mission, if you choose to accept the challenge, is to tell a story in 280 characters or less inspired by the photo prompt.

Photo by Tony Dinh at Unsplash.com

Caged souls

that…

cannot sing

lying in wait

for release

whilst in the

midst of their

dark season

of healing

and their

broken wings

are mended

to fly

far and beyond

the pain that

took their life

and become

the lyrics

that sing

to the other

caged souls

that are

lying in wait

lifting their spirits

and filling them

with hope

to carry

them through

until…

it is their time

to fly

far and beyond

the pain

that killed them.

Let us not besmirch

the souls who walk

a different path honoring

their individual uniqueness

for each and every flaw

is priceless in the eyes of God

the broken He makes into beautiful

~ * ~

Let us all honor one another

that our souls become full

and peace is the light we shine

for having sewn Love’s tapestry divine!
