Listen to your heart and trust the direction you are being pulled. Something inside you already knows what to do.

A torrent came upon this soul
from whence I knew naught
it was not winsome nor was it cliche
this torrent tumbled me and dropped
me over the edge beyond depths
of waters I had seen before…
It was different, it was new
scary, yet exhilarating…testing my
trust to go beyond myself and
surrender to the Power that metamorphose
in unknown ways higher, greater than
what the human mind could ever conceive
a truly transformative gift of Love!

Each week the Elders
gather together as a symbol
of trust for the townspeople
a tradition that has been
carried on for over a century
giving strength to this town
hope to the people that they
have always been able to
rely on and come together
as a whole to weather life
and not lose their integrity
through division by pride
instead remain a humble town
that does more than just survive
they continue to flourish
a priceless and rare jewel
in this world’s scarcity of humility.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Deep trust in life is not a feeling but a stance that you deliberately take. It is the attitude we call courage.
