Sadje’s What Do You See #67 – Photo prompt

When my heart becomes

gloomy

my first instinct is to

tiptoe

around the issue and

pretend

that all is a well and good

facade

but I have painfully learned the

repercussions

of avoidance the darkness shall

reign

leaving my heart

imprisoned

unable to walk into the

Light

if I do not embrace it in

Love

that turns the darkness into

Sunshine

and repetitive foolish choices into

Wisdom

The Love Train

In Response To:

Your Daily Word Prompt – Liven – January 5, 2021

Sadje’s What Do You See #63Does this picture inspire you to write something?

Alas, the sun has set

upon this once vibrant

train station

alive with souls traveling

the same destination

until suddenly the world

took a turn for the worst

turning to violent rebellion

over things only seen by

the carnal mind that

aspires to nothing higher

than a hostile, self-centered,

and selfish state-

a spiritual death…

But we can liven this death

by leaving behind the carnal mind

and reboarding the Love Train

traveling the same destination

to a Higher Mind of Love

All are welcome!

Yet, another mask

painted in brilliant colors

sparkling glitter and

neon brush stokes

catching the attention

of all eyes passing by…

But the dispirited eyes

behind the mask

speak of truth hidden

the ache of the lost soul

desperate to be set free

from the prison of facade

Sadje’s What Do You See #8 – Does this picture inspire you to write something?

When the soul has been

hewn to love beyond itself

precious is the grace that

has borne another’s burden

~ * ~

Galatians 6:2-3 (AMP)

2 Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something [special] when [in fact] he is nothing [special except in his own eyes], he deceives himself.

Your Daily Word Prompt – Purpose – December 10, 2019

Sadje’s What Do You See #7 – Does this picture inspire you to write something?

As they journeyed through the vault

in search of a priceless treasure

they found it to be vacant and silent

of the lyrics and rhythm that gives one purpose

to live and partake in the abundance of life…

They chose not to dive deep into the ocean of grace

to capture the music that would carry them through

the waves of sorrows, pains, unbearable grief into

healing calm waters of Love’s strength, joys and

incomparable heights beyond human realms…

But alas, they let fear imprison them into quietus

for a soul without music is a dead place.

A Higher Realm

The Light dawned upon

a darkened road

choosing a special

place to begin

an unrealized journey

for a newly borne soul

saying: “Follow Me

I will lead you

and guide you

into an unspeakable

Higher greatness!”

She followed and

the promise still

holds true.

V.J.’s Weekly Challenge #74 – Moderation

Your Daily Word Prompt – Kindred – November 28, 2019

Sadje’s What Do You See #5 – Does this picture inspire you to write something?

In her secret place where

she goes to create a life

and design a world

where people do not

stand on ceremony

instead…

all souls are kindred

living in moderation

not excessiveness to

have more and be more

than others and

poverty, homelessness, hunger are

obliterated…

each and every soul has

a tummy that is full

and a place to call home

in her secret place

Word Of The Day Challenge – Sanguine

Your Daily Word Prompt – Ecstatic – November 20, 2019

Sadje’s What Do You See #4 – Does this picture inspire you to write something?

An ecstatic vision

of what I could become

if I allow my prideful ways

to always be the outcome

a frightening thought to be seen

yet at the same time

a sanguine blessing foreseen

warning me of my soul’s decay

should I not choose to comply

and follow in a humble way

lest this be the way I die

Escaping

In Response To:

V.J.’s Weekly Challenge #72: Wish – What’s in a wish? Do you dare to dream, to wish? This week, I challenge you to set your imagination free, unlock your heart, and wish.

Sadje’s What Do You See #3 – What words would you give to this picture?

She gazes at the art inside

to take her where her dreams lie

instead of settling for just a wish

which she cannot seem to accomplish

it helps her to escape her life’s reality

of her marriage’s violent incompatibility

she tells herself that one day she will be free

but until that day the art remains her reprieve.
