full with promise of new growth

awakening hope

An abundance of 

springtime flowers

warming the thoughts

till Spring arrives

but Spring will not truly 

arrive in the heart

unless there is gratitude

for the here and now 

even through the

Winter seasons

A flourishing forest

filled with colors

of Hope

that Winter’s bitter

will soon be turned into

Spring’s sweet

lavishing joy

Open To Receive

despite Winter’s cold

Spring can open her doors

within our hearts

and blanket us in

Sun’s warming rays

Taking Flight

through the veil

a horizon beckons for

courage to step out

beyond what is known

beyond what is safe

like the eagle’s soar

refreshing
