As I walk along the bridge
I stop and look out
reflecting on the season
of barren wastelands
I have been traveling

Seeking to fine the oasis
each time I thought
I had come close to
finding a drop of
refreshing hope…

The oasis was dry
leaving my thirst unquenched
so in dismay I would lay down
and rest to awaken to new strength
to continue on this journey again

Because I know that a new season
of unknown with promises
is coming soon for it awaits
me to continue my walk
across the bridge into
the rainbow covenant.
