In the broken chaos
with a hole in my soul
and walls surrounding me
a mountain blocks my path
my feet buried in the earth
I am frozen…unable…
to move forward on my journey…
I have no choice
but to open my eyes
and look around,
beyond myself…
And, it is then, I see…
green branches of life
growing all around,
beyond myself…
Leading me to the Vine
that keeps me rooted
in a Power…
so greater than I
This soul fulfilled
the walls have come down
I stand upon the mountain
that was once an obstacle…
A moment of stillness
looking to the Heavenly Vine
the precious gift of…
